The Custer Lodge Gallery
"Comfortable and Peaceful Resort Living" best describes this custom home designed and built in the Boot Hill Subdivison in Custer, SD, a stones throw from the phenomenal Custer State Park. This lovely and relaxing second home was designed and built long distance with the owners and Jennifer and Jeff meeting face to face only on several occasions, but maintaining constant communication throughout the design and building process with the home completed in 7 months. The Lage's cherish the trust given by the owners to design and build their dream home. The design blended their love of the Black Hills, the spectacular view of Custer Peak with the needs of a second home to entertain a larger and growing family that would someday be their permanent home. Don't be surprised by the log exterior, this home was conventionally built with 2x6 construction with log accents built into the interior and exterior with cut log siding. Custom hickory cabinetry, commercial appliances, a sun room, laundry ¾ bath, mastersuite, office and great room comprise the spaces on the main level with a large deck. The lower walk out level features 2 bedrooms, exercise room, family room and bar. Both levels feature stone fireplaces and unique touches throughout.
